(1) Each ambulance shall have a permanently mounted radio to contact the hospital emergency department of the hospital it serves. There shall be a microphone and speaker permanently mounted in the patient compartment. The radio shall comply with ch. DHS 110.
(2) Each ambulance service provider operating ambulances staffed either wholly or partially with EMTs practicing advance skills shall have remote 2-way communications for personnel when they are away from the ambulance.
